Big beer drinking crowd at this point for those Sad Summer shows so it probably still works. I imagine there will be a ton of ticket giveaways to the shows in distress.

I mean I could be wrong here, but I think 4/5 bands on that list are pretty LGBTQ+ friendly. And then you know Ronnie Radke... is actual human garbage.

Ronnie Radke is a cancer that will continue to grow

 

I’ve only seen him once. His old band (I can’t remember the name) opened for The Matches (who I was there to see.) Ronnie’s tight leather pants kept slipping down so his bare ass was always just out there, unbeknownst to him, I assumed. But learning more about him since then, I’m sure it was intentional.

I think it's a little weird of a pairing, but I don't hate it. Have never seen either. I used to listen to Lupe a lot in high school. Really haven't followed him after. I'll be going and enjoying.

 

One time I got in line at the Apple Store in Chicago on Michigan Ave. Fuckin Ronnie was in front of me in line. I HAD TO TALK TO HIM. This was in 2014 so the world wasn’t on fire yet. We talked for a good 45min and I almost drove him and his gf across town but we got held up in the store for too long. He was super nice and talked about how everything was in act for him. I can’t vouch for him now but he seemed sincere. He talked about the fake beefs he made on Warped Tour because it would bring him and other bands a crowd.

 

The Cure might be a show I'd travel for. Not NY/LA, but I'd for sure do an overnighter in Chicago.

 

If this is a 20th anniversary tour… lord knows they won’t come to the US… I’m going to have to get on a damn plane and go to England

Say what you will about some of the dumb dumb bands I listen to, but at least they have enough faith in their musical talent and ability to draw a crowd and don't feel the need to start fake beefs to get an audience.

Well I don’t know the guy personally or have ever listened to his band. I just know my friends bands who were on Warped with him that year would trash him everyday. So given the opportunity I had a conversation with him to kill time. I also said I can’t vouch for him now since this was maybe 10 years ago? I was only bringing up a funny interaction.
