  1. This is one of those things where I feel like I shouldn't answer because I haven't seen (and honestly have very little interest in seeing) most of these, especially the older ones. I've only seen Scream 1-5, one Evil Dead (2013), and like three Saw movies. But of those choices I'd easily get rid of Saw, if only for its negative influence on horror as a whole.

I reach for Saw movies easily over Friday the 13th, I'd really only be torn up about losing Jason X

Something about the Saw becoming increasingly more confusing and convoluted is amazing

I strongly agree with this tbh

  5. both parts of this sentence are so unbelievably insane to me

  6. It's Saw easily and I even have nostalgia for some of those movies. I can't believe Cody would do this to me

Jason X rules, the rest of the series I feel like other slasher movies have done better tbh.

  13. It's not even so bad it's fun hahaha the Friday movies are so cozy for the most part, a couple of duds aside. I feel bad for people that don't feel that

F13 VI and VII are all timers for me. I still need to watch The Final Chapter.

  16. The torture porn stuff isn’t really for me, but I recall the first Saw being decent enough for me to probably cut Final Destination, a franchise I’ve never really gotten anything out of

  18. It's F13 or Chucky for me. I've only seen the first couple F13 movies and have never had any interest in the Chucky movies. Someday I'll work my way through the F13 movies.

child’s play definitely continues to be one of the best horror franchises ever

New series is extremely good. Genuinely scary at times.

I'm going to run through the Fridays this spring with the mindset of, "cozy is key." I'm much more interested after listening to the Gourley and Rust coverage. Ya'll may make a Friday fan out of me yet!

Also...if I had to eliminate any of those franchises, it would be NOES, which absolutely pains me to say. The first Nightmare and New Nightmare fucking rule, but Saw 1 & 2 give off that early 2000s nostalgia torture porn vibe that I'm not willing to part with.
