Having never watched succession, the hot take I've seen online is diminishing returns and that no one is upset/surprised this is the last season. Knowing that it now has an ending, and will be a complete arc, I might jump in. Hope to hear it ends well.

It's also wild to me that I haven't seen it yet because it's done by the peep show creator and that's far and away my all time favorite comedy. I know this is a drama and more serious, but if it has any of the same sort of bite and humor overlap, I'm sure I'd love it.

Succession, Mad Men, and the Sopranos are dramas that have better comedy than a lot of their contemporary sitcoms

If Succession sticks the landing, it’s guaranteed to be considered one of the greatest shows in this era of television history.

Jeremy Strong is excellent as Kendall.

    Weird vibes here today.

I definitely think the first season was 100/100, whereas the second and third were more like 90ish, but it's all pretty great

Has anyone watched Bust Down? It was a recommendation for Sunny fans.

Im three episodes deep and it’s just ok so far.

Most prestige shows "about rich people" are satirizing them and explore those themes of class and privilege that the characters represent. There are also SO MANY fantastic shows interrogating capitalism and corruption (out right now and throughout the last 20 years) featuring rich people that I can't even fathom how many great stories are missed out bc of that.

For those Perfect Match fans - I'm currently watching Season 8 of Are You The One on Hulu with the wife because I don't have enough trash TV in my life at the moment, and Kariselle was also on that season. It was a real WTF moment tbh.

I’m not a big reality show person, watched this specifically because it was the queer season. MTV really underestimated the chaos they were gonna have in that house. There were entire relationships and hookups never mentioned on the show. And then the after show shenanigans were a whole other level. Definitely an entertaining season

I really liked Bust Down. Kinda reminded me of South Side (which is even better)

Nice! I'll finish the show but I hope the remaining episodes are better. South Side was another recommendation that I will watch too.

I wanted to watch The Mole, but after seeing The Perfect Match and now knowing who the mole is, I'm not sure if I still wanna watch.

did you find out who the mole was elsewhere? I don’t think they say it on perfect match, but I may be misremembering

I thought they said it was Will but I may have misheard or maybe he just won some money on the show but wasn't the actual Mole or something ?!?

It might take a little of the mystery away not knowing who is sabotaging missions and how and who isn’t, but most of the fun for me was the actual missions themselves and trying to figure out for myself who the mole was. You’d probably still have some fun with it
