What I meant was that I was being sarcastic when I said it was an obscure and forgotten series. BioShock is very clearly neither of those things. It sounded like you maybe didn't realize that.

 

Player's Log:

I decided to hold off on my 2064 shenanigans until I have a clear run at what I'm trying to accomplish with that game.

Instead, I've been going through some other games here and there while also testing out different trainer programs, because I'm a dirty rotten cheat.

Anyway, I finished two small narrative adventures, You Will (Not) Remain and What Comes After. The latter is light and heartwarming, the former is decidedly not. In fact the former is very bizarre, and hard to talk about without spoilers. 100% them both.

I also played a bit of Within The Blade, which is a Shinobi-style action game with a crafting gimmick for some strange reason. It's fun, but hard, and I kind of regret starting on Normal difficulty, but that's because I thought the trainer I downloaded would work, which it didn't. The one caveat to trainers is new versions of the games can make them obsolete.

I also played through Wallachia: Reign Of Dracula, which is very much a Castlevania clone, reminiscent of Bloodlines. Very difficult, and this I did play with a trainer, and even then it was still annoying with some precise and sometimes unresponsive jumping situations. Just like the good 'ol days.

Next I'm going to play Wayward Souls.

 

Had to put Octopath down for a bit so I could enjoy a nice evening of genital jousting with the fellas

 

playing DragonBall FighterZ before it leaves Gamepass and i'm actually enjoying this way more than i thought i would

 

I just want a more condensed and concise Assassin’s Creed. They started getting big just to be big and have a massive amount of checklist items. Give me one or two detailed cities. Syndicate was perfect for this. Origins was close to being the perfect size.

Yes, they should be able to see it. That is unless someone is blocked from seeing mine or your posts.

 

They’ve already confirmed this is what Mirage, the next game will be doing so, wish granted. The plan is for games like that, big RPG games, and other games all released without favoring one over the others. Ambitious and likely to fail considering Ubisoft is just burning money these days but let them cook.

Player's Log: Wayward Souls

Roguelike action-RPG that started on mobile but was ported to PC via Steam.

Seems alright so far. There's a prologue and then you choose from one of three different characters, with three more unlocking as you play the game, and they all have their own storylines from what I understand.

I don't know if I'll stick with it or not, but we'll see.

 

idk if I just didn’t realize this but I unlocked a bunch of radio towers and it gave me super powerful weapons super early on so now it’s a breeze just the collecting is a pain

 

So I decided to give Lil Gator Game a shot and it is very cute, funny and charming. I would highly recommend it. It also finally shows what Playtonic Games can do.

It's just such a fun breezy game.
