Randomly saw an IG post about potential new music by them and I just remembered how much I listened to this album back in college. I think it still really holds up

RIYL: Yellowcard with minimal violin and more emo origins? However I'm bad with these and may be due to the cover and the vocalist's voice. Better at just giving favorite songs: Speakerphone, The Waterfront, Lost Lake, You Can

New Equipment EP slaps

 

I was thinking about The Weakerthans and John K. Samson today and i thought to myself "hmm i wonder what he's been up to" so i checked his website and lo and behold! he has a project with Christine Fellows (who I'm less familiar with) called "Vivat Virtute". Came out this past week. The album is all instrumental except for the last one and are mostly on the shorter side. Probably why the album is called "Hold Music" lol

 

LOVE this album. I was always so bummed that they only had the one record. Gonna give it another spin today!
