Pouzza line-up dropped! Rad line-up all around with some fantastic bands in small print that are worth checking out.

Sidenote: Am I the only one getting nervous about the Lawrence Arms potentially being done as a full-time touring act? I don't think they'll ever stop writing/recording and I doubt they'd ever "break-up" but I know Chris has a situation where somebody close to him (or him) is immunocompromised so they were only doing outdoor festivals with a lot of open space. It's just jarring seeing Brendan touring so much knowing the Larry Arms have played like, a single show since that last album dropped.

 

Pouzza would be fun to attend one day. I hear nice things about Montreal too

That had to have been conscious choice to have two "The Black" bands play on the same day.

On a related note, are The Arcs not touring to support their new album?

 

I think we won’t see much of them again this year, maybe Fest or Riot and then war on Xmas but hopefully next year they’re back in actual action. Need a headliner for skeleton coast even if it is 3-4 years after lol

I'm amazed at how popular Beabadoobee now is. She old out 2 nights at NYC's Terminal 5 (3000-capacity) already for shows in the summer.

 

And she's gonna get a huge bump opening for Taylor in a few weeks. Pretty stoked to see her in front of a crowd that size.

Hoping for a Weezer/Smashing Pumpkins summer amphitheater tour. Would be somewhat similar to that one, and both have/had multi-part projects as of late (granted they’d have to largely focus on the hits).

Weezer/Smashing Pumpkins co-headliner with Teagan and Sara opening would be badass and I think adds up.

When SP cancelled their Portland show in November on their tour with Jane’s Addiction, they said they’d be back in the summer. And T&S were recently on Billy Corgan’s podcast…

Rivers also said on his Discord server that they want to do a more “old school” set on the summer tour. If they’re touring with SP, I could see that being the reason why.

Fuck, now I’m getting myself excited for a tour that probably isn’t happening lol

You're getting me excited too! Haha. Earlier in this thread somebody mentioned the opener was more in the "indie/alternative" world which kinda leaves the door wide open. I guess Tegan & Sara fit in that box still?

But a Weezer/Pumpkins/T&S tour is the kind of package that I can like, visualize the poster for and it makes perfect sense all-around (though I can think of a bunch of other bands that would also make sense as an opener there). Haha.

 

I think someone mentioned that T&S were being rumored? That’s the only reason why I brought them up. Or maybe I made that up in my brain. I’ve been sick since last week. My brain is broken lol
