I was wondering if this was going to sound like some obvious TMMOG b-sides. But, it's...way different. Feels like they took some of the good lessons from HOPE and Swiss Army Man and somehow picked up some harmony ideas from jesus christ? I dig hard.

Did my best to decipher that muffled vocal loop played throughout. Pretty sure it's "Non BI-LO...is what I want."

 

Just left the show. Played an acoustic set prior to the film. 1-2 songs from each record starting with Virgin. Fucking fantastic.

then they played the record from front to back which there’s a film that accompanies the whole thing.

capital karma is a good representation of the whole thing. More electronica/vibey/harmony heavy album. Sounded like all programmed drums (for the most part).

it’s like Andy and Robert made an album that’s more in line with their film composition style of music.

overall - really great. Probably a fantastic album for headphones.

Andy also said they were coming back this summer and playing the Greek which I believe will be their biggest LA show by far - almost 6,000 cap. Didn’t say who they’d be with though.

 

Show was great. Film was whatever but new music is very pretty
