I commend you on actually ordering the songs. I don’t think I could ever do that with a band like blink

 

Yeah I can't really rank anything with this band. If I went to go listen to blink right now, my go-to would be something like "Pin The Grenade" or "Left Alone", but I can't rank those above something like "Going Away To College" that I've loved for like 23 years.

Happens with a lot of bands when you've listened to them for decades. You favor their newer stuff but the old stuff is what got you hooked on the band, so it's tough to "rank" them appropriately.

 

Lists are happening again. We really need a new song asap

 

It's also tough because my listening mood really determines what blink songs I'm playing. Certain days my Top 10 blink songs are 90% comprised of Untitled.

 

IMO it is so subjective for a band that has had this big of a legacy and this much continuous success. Seems to depend a lot on when you discovered them or what album was out when you were a teenager. Personally, the general rule is my favorite blink music is whatever I am choosing to listen to that day.

 

Boy, that Valentine's day new music pre-save story sure came and went... I am actually fine with no new music, but I would really like some more news, info, and press. I'd even settle for Tom's grandiose statements about how this album will define a generation lol.

Same here. It’s been about four months since we’ve had anything substantial to talk about, and we have to be on the brink of more music, news, interviews, etc. so it’s hard not to be impatient right now. Haha.

 

I will say it feels odd to have that very exciting build when everyone knew news was coming and tom was back, but didn't know the nitty gritty, and then nothing aside from Instagram stories in the studio since. It was a great rollout and whether there is new music or not they will be doing plenty of interviews to promote the tour.

Oh, whoops! I totally skipped over the title and read the last line as the name of the album and its release date. My bad!

 

You know, real or fake... I love the buzz knowing one way or another something is coming.

 

A 5/12 release date would mean I may be lucky enough to find it on the high seas before the 5/6 show. I've already purchased it multiple times though, don't worry.
