As has been said Weezer w/AAR would be a strong bill.

 

Weezer with All-American Rejects and a younger "pop-punk" or "emo" band would probably do exceptionally well, TBH.

 

I have a sneaking suspicion All Time Low is on some sort of ampitheater package given they announced a B/C market list (and, yes, I know everyone hates them now but just pointing it out). They could pair with either of those bands.

 

Weezer's summer support are bands that are not associated with the pop punk / emo scene, more in the indie / alternative side.

 

Please god don’t let it be ATL on the AAR tour

 

SOMEONE JUST LEAK THE WEEZER DATES ALREADY JFC

 

Debating hitting this up tomorrow, not familiar with Show Me The Body, Zulu or Tripp Jones though. I guess I should definitely go.

 

I would go, it’s such a great line up. SMTB and Zulu crush, Tripp Jones is a rap act but he was pretty fun tbh.

 

Show me the body and zulu both rule. Definitely give them a listen (and go)

 

Seriously this. I feel like this tour has been talked about for a full 2 months at this point and it will ultimately be a letdown once we hear who it is and where it's coming.

 

Gonna take a guess that it’s something like AAR/Boys Like Girls/We The Kings/Grayscale or something similar

 

Would AAR/Something Corporate be a possibility?

Aren't the three of them playing a festival together somewhere in Oklahoma this summer? I could see this being a tour. But amphitheaters seem very ambitious

 

Plain White T’s struggles to sell out 500 cap venues these days. HH too, but they at least get closer

 

If that tour does even remotely okay in amphitheaters... I will swing, swing from the tangles of my own nose hairs and rip them out by hand.

 

This would be fun but We the Kings def cant sell out 1k. Maybe GC? Simple Plan?

 

Yeah if those are the bands involved our resident rumour mill greatly overstated their popularity lol
