  2. Wish I could still feel enthusiastic about that band. That was my favorite album of 2013.

I hate when tours are announced and just say with “special guests.” If I’m buying tickets to something and paying the price most shows cost nowadays, I wanna know the lineup I’m paying for lol

No shade to CAS specifically but few things bum me out more than the anticipation of an IG post loading on this thread and revealing it's a band I don't care about.

Had no idea CAS could fill venues that size

Pages behind, but is this just not the type of show for arena's? It starts at 2... I don't want to pay for a seat and sit ALL day between bands. I know you can move about, or turn up late, but I'd rather stand and mingle with people then get a seat for a nearly all day fest. That's probably the opposite of some though who don't want to stand for hours.

so who’s headlining? i feel like AAR themselves would cap out at 2000 ppl or so these days

If anything I want a seat for a tour like this. I think the issue is that ticket prices aren’t worth the lineup alone. They’d need to add another couple headliners in order to justify it. Or just make tickets $30 instead

I would have guessed AAR would net out at 1.5-2k on a headlining run regardless of how quiet they've been. An amphitheater run seems super ambitious unless there's not a lot of overlap within the capacity draws... And if that's the case, then I'm not sure where the value would be for fans?

Are the opening bands from the same "wave" as AAR or are they mostly on the younger side of things?

My thoughts have evolved on this since the line-up first dropped. And having seen how poorly the Boston date is doing... I think it's the combination of cost versus setting and how "uneven" the line-up probably feels to most people.

$70 per ticket is one thing, but when I think about the fact that I'd probably only want to see every other band and the amount of time I'd be standing/sitting in the same spot? Super unappealing. The time commitment and the space it's taking place in are probably rate-limiting factors for a lot of people (especially the Taking Back Sunday/Head Automatica fans).

I would gladly pay $70 for this line-up if it were GA and there was re-entry.

Sad Summer Festival.....if TBS had a newfound interest in them, put out a new record or hadn't been constantly touring these past 5-6 years, it might be selling a bit better. In NYC/NJ area alone, they are guaranteed to play 3-4 holiday area dates so it just seems redundant to have them trying to anchor an 18k-capacity show
