That was a pretty crazy thing though. We had 3 goalies start for us that year, Nemo, Stalock, and Grosenick. All 3 got a shutout in their season debut.

While we are on the subject, who do you want to backup Joner. He cant carry the load as much as he did last year. That was just too much, especially for his first season as a starter.

 

oh it was a cool story no doubt. The thing was everyone was proclaiming him to be our next backup when he sucked in AHL and he loses his starter role.

I wanted Enroth for the whole summer but now I don't even think there is anyone we can do besides Dell.

 

I never thought much of Grosenick either. Enroth wouldve been cool, keeping Reimer would have been the best. But you're right, dude, were getting a Dell lol.

 

Yeah I would have preferred both those two before Dell just because we have no sample size on him at NHL level.

The Sharks desperately need a backup that could play at least 30 games.

I still can't believe Percy hasn't cracked the NHL. The dude looked so solid in his call up a couple years ago.

 

another dude like that is Jeremy Morin. Dude is basically super good for the AHL yet he can't crack a NHL roster at all.

I can't imagine him being worse than some of the people teams are throwing out there on the 4th line.

 

I was always surprised that Morin got passed over for Josh Leivo during his short Leafs stint.

I wanted to hate him more than I do for the hit, but you can see in real time that Vesey turned his back last second. Still, proud of McIlrath jumping in after everyone else just stood there.

Also, Vesey came back in the game at the beginning of the 2nd.

I figured the Flyers were one more year away from the mass exodus of old shit players in favor of a youth movement but that is probably going to get a good kickstart this year

Do not see how you can send Konecny or Provy back.

 

Shero said in an interview awhile back that he tried to trade back up into the 1st last year with Vancouver to get Konecny but they wouldn't budge. He went 1 pick after Vancouver

thankfully, as soon as the Canucks said no, he went out and got Palmieri and that has turned out well. but still.

 

He's been so good this preseason. I think he's gonna stick with the big club. I just hope he can stay healthy.

also the only real prospects I'm hyped for right now are goldobin and Lebanc.

 

I was just coming in here to ask Rangers fans how Vesey has been doing only to see him get crushed. How has be been doing outside of that Gudas hit?

As far as prospects go, I'm super psyched for Danton Heinen, and I'm hoping Brandon Carlo can get some big league time this year.

Apparently Backes and Pastrnak combined for like 3 goals against Philly, so that's cool
