Can anyone on here confirm whether or not there are two different versions of the MO track "Opposite Sides" - one that was released on the soundtrack to the movie Earth To Echo and one that was released on a 7" vinyl as a b-side to "The Ocean".....?

    Yup, two different songs

Is there any way to hear the The Ocean 7" b-side version aside from buying deluxe Cope on vinyl?

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

they're totally different songs iirc not just different versions just to make it super confusing lol

I have both on my computer, if no one helps you by tomorrow I can send em your way

Yeah, thank you very much for sharing that. I hadn't even been aware of that song before this morning, nevermind having actually heard it.

This artwork is very The Armed.

    Nice find!

Typeface/text placement seems to be the same as the No Rule artwork.

Also looks like scheduled for March 10 release. Maybe the April 7 that was listed on All Music is for vinyl?

I am starting to get extremely excited for this release.

The first 5 tracks on MMoG are right up there with my favorite music this band has ever made. I struggle with the back half, but I love The Internet as a closer and honestly No Rule is f---ing incredible.

I can't wait to hear some of the other ideas they were exploring.

It loses me after Annie, but I really love Obstacle through The Internet. They could have replaced Let It Storm or Dinosaur with No Rule and it would be a much better album IMO.

I found Million Masks to be very forgettable. Maybe I’ll revisit it sometime soon, but pretty easily my least favorite album from this band

Dinosaur just needs to be swapped for the live version with the second big explosion.

I like Dinosaur, but I could definitely see swapping Let It Storm out for No Rule.

Million masks is better than a black mile, cope and simple math.

Inaudible is my least favorite song on the record and MO opener by a wide margin.

I honestly like all 3 of those albums much more than MMoG - although I will say that the production (mixing?) on MMoG is leagues better than on Cope. MMoG *sounds* incredible.

I just listened to Simple Math on my ride home for the first time in a long time, and that album is absolutely fucking glorious.

Haven’t listened to Million Masks since it came out, but I do remember debating between it and Simple Math as my least favorite.

Some really cringe takes here. MMOG is a fantastic work of art only bested by ABMTTS.

"keel timing" and "bed head" are incredible songs (I have them spliced as one song on my phone for running reasons) but I basically never listen to the rest
