He is one of the biggest country/rock crossover artists in the country right now

not a fan personally myself but he is a large part of this country/rock crossover thing taking place right now. I feel like he and Hardy are like the biggest at blending those styles currently.

I just do feel that is the artists are having merch cuts taken then they should get a % of the bar, parking, seating amenities, etc.

I think those are the types of bands accepting the crossover. Shinedown, Five Finger, Nickelback.

Pretty impressive considering Jelly Roll was playing dive bars five years ago.

They are being played like hell on Octane so I would say "yes"

Let’s get these inevitable Weezer, Incubus and 311 summer tours out

They should all tour together…that bill actually makes a ton of sense.

I mean, an Incubus/311 tour was supposed to happen in 2020. It’d be a good summer to try and do it again

I saw Incubus open for 311 in the summer of 2000. The addition of Weezer would actually make a ton of sense as they could all rotate closing (though I'd recommend it go 311 -> Incubus -> Weezer to not lose a ton of people when the headliner went on). Since most ampitheaters have an 11pm curfew they'd have to follow a similar structure to Hella Mega with everyone getting 75 min sets.

he's bigger than he's ever been, but i don't think jelly roll is amphitheater level popularity. Hardy is bigger than he is and i would be shocked if he was able to sell out amphitheaters like that

Braid seems to be teasing an announcement of some sort for Thursday. I bet it’ll just be a reissue or something, but gosh I’d love a tour from them

Hey so where's that The Finer Things 10 Year Tour we were supposed to get from State Champs? Is that an end of the year tour or...?

  19. Bob did a small acoustic set at one of the When We Were Young side shows and that was fun! And then I saw him later that night at a karaoke thing too. It’d be fun to see a full Braid show.

  21. Why would a 90s emo band tease something on behalf of a 2000s post hardcore band, can't they do their own marketing?
