I am still perplexed as to how stuff like Bowling For Soup translates in UK/Europe as it sounds very American and very Texan but...then again Kings Of Leon were big in the UK before US so what do I know.

When are they gonna headline amphitheaters? Does Face Down have to go number one again?

No budget for that likely and most big acts probably have other touring plans. Now that you mention that though, a Weezer with direct support from Taking Back Sunday would have been a much better idea for this tour.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I got called a f*g for liking the "girly pop punk" shit 15-20 years ago (turns out they were right though lol)

Reminds me that I saw Blink 182 w/Weezer and TBS in 2009 for like $80 GA Pit.

Weezer and TBS would be a cool tour, but it would make 0 sense to label it as sad summer fest

sad summer could just not go to ampitheaters with seating like that and it would be fine tbh, not sure what they were thinking

This remains me of the Rockstar Disrupt festival from a few years ago. Crowd was barely there but it was still a killer time.

The Irvine date was weird because it was the only date that did well lol. It was packed by the time Sum 41 went on and the crowd was nuts for all the headliners.

Tons of people left before Thrice though, which was weird and disappointing

taking back Sunday’s follower to listener ratio on Spotify is 31%. That’s OKAY but not great for a band that big

    More like BAD Summer Fest.

just kidding, I love both bands, but these jokes just write themselves.

To this day, I am still bummed the CLE show on this tour got rescheduled and TBS/Weezer couldn't make the rescheduled date.

The Maine’s Spotify RFI is 41% and PVRIS is 24%. All these bands have lots of listeners but not that many people who are dedicated fans, which is why we see these poor sales

I still don’t think it’s a great metric for this sort of thing. I used spotify religiously for like 3 years and never followed a single artist lol

It reminds me of that TBS/Dashboard/Saosin/TEN tour back in 2016. Didn’t sell that well. Had a ton of fun anyway.

It’s a metric I’ve heard artists use. August burns red in particular is how I heard about it. The singer of fit for a king said in an interview that they used that metric to grow their brand because it’s what ABR did.

Ahhh yes, great tour. Idk if that was a problem of too big of venues, but at least in Ohio it suffered from the fact, for example, they hit Cleveland, Columbus, *and* Cincinnati and tried to hit 5k+ cap venues in each city
