Kind of sounds like that Ben Affleck/Samuel L. Jackson movie from back in the day.

 

Changing Lanes! Man I really liked that movie back then. Strong performance for both Jackson and Affleck. Jackson’s got this great monologue about Tiger Woods where he’s putting down these two white guys talking about Woods at a bar. Ben’s got a good one at the very end as well with Amanda Peet’s character.

 

I remember Changing Lanes, I liked that one.

 

That Showtime doc about the international diamond racket is really good. Really clever to drop it around Valentines Day.

Really enjoyed The Traitors with two major complaints. 1: like with any other competition show with "celebs" you get a few non-competitive players who don't really need the money, and they play like they don't need the money. See: Brandie and Arie. If it was all competitive players, their two things wouldn't have happened. You see the same thing happen in Celeb Big Brother and 2. the addition of a new Traitor that late into the game is simply unfair, for a few reasons, and it was the only twist I really didn't care for

 

I don't think I ever got around to season 2 (need to correct that) but the first 3 episodes of season 3 of Wu Tang An American Saga drop tomorrow.

 

Agreed completely on your second point. Was VERY glad at how the finale played out because of that. Cirie deserved finally getting a win so much

 

she played so damn well and was BRUTAL at the end, but that's what makes her so good, was so great to watch her get that win

 

I'm so happy The Traitors got renewed. I liked it so much I'm thinking of downloading the UK/AUS versions and seeing what they're all about lol

 

UK and AUS versions are getting added to Peacock this week!

Is anyone watching Perfect Match on Netflix? They took people from The Circle, Love is Blind, The Mole, Too Hot To Handle, basically every Netflix reality show and put them together to do a Love Island type thing. It’s pretty fun so far.

Honestly reading the New York Magazine cover story when it dropped in 2020, I was like: "I know this happened but...how? Why didn't they just...leave?"

And even after watching the movie I still feel that way. But the footage and recordings at least provide some sort of color to it.
