Not really tiny but this bum hit me in the eye as he was exiting the subway randomly when I was on my way to my friends to watch the superbowl. It was for sure intentional he hit me kind of hard. I'm ok it's just swollen but I start my new job tomorrow so it'll be fun explaining a black eye all day lol

Someone put up a basketball hoop outside my bedroom window and even tho I'm several floors up I can hear them. Don't wanna be a buzzkill cause I'm sure it's just a couple youths who are enjoying the sun and lack of rain lately but I'm already a light sleeper and it was hard to take a needed nap today

All week I’ve been waiting to hang out with my single friend on “Tuesday”, because I have the day off. I just realized I have the day off because Tuesday is Valentine’s Day and I have to be with my fiancée lol. Now I feel bad that I have to cancel on him!

 

Seller was supposed to move all their shit out of the house over the weekend. Guess what??? They didn't!!! Our deadline to close is next Tuesday and I have 1 day off between now and then so they need to get their shit together by Friday bc that is literally the only time I have to sign everything. My anxiety levels are through the fucking roof. No one has lived in the house since April. There are 4 items inside and 2 in the yard. Why are they taking so long????

 

Sounds like it's time to put them outside with a "Free" sign.

 

Yeah fuck that. Break in and throw the shit away.

I woke up in a funk today and just did not have any ambition to work or do anything helpful today and even though I work remote and only had one meeting to attend I still always feel like somehow other people know or some bullshit like that and have to remind myself that that’s not how it works and everyone is oblivious or caught up with their own shit to even think of what I may or may not be working on.

I suppose it’s just a weird reaction to feeling guilty that while I’m supposed to be working I’m laying on my couch doing nothing but whatever, it happens lol I’ll pick up the pieces tomorrow and it’s not like I work in a critical field or save lives, all will be fine but my head just likes to think it’s all super important and somehow everyone knows I’m being a lazy shit today.

 

I just talked to my realtor bc naturally I am freaking out. She said they are basically acting like little babies and refusing to do anything bc they found out the house has a lien on it. It was the woman's father's house and he took out the lien for credit card debt so now they have to pay it off from what they get from selling the house. It's $13,000 and they are pissed. But you cannot sell a house with a lien on it!! So even if they don't sell it to me they are still going to have to pay it. My realtor has been calling daily to see if they've taken care of the paperwork and they are still acting pissy about it. If I lose this house bc of them I'm gonna be so pissed. She did say if needed she can make me an after hours appointment with the title place so that gives me extra time but wtf. I just want this to be over with.

13k is nothing to disregard, but when the timing of your decision directly tampers with someone else’s housing situation you can’t be hemming and hawing like that. Like sell it or don’t but don’t keep someone waiting to find out if they’ll have a place to live next week or not

 

How did they not find out about the lien until now? Seems like something their realtor would have found before?

 

my same thought, but I guess it also depends on the realtor / company the realtor works for. Years ago my parents neighbors weee trying to sell their house on their own for $120K and couldn’t so they hired a realtor and yeah they’re gonna increase the price to get a bigger commission but they raised it by close to $90K but didn’t have the owners do any repairs and asking $120 was crazy so asking for $210K was absurd and it sat unsold for almost a year and a half before selling for like $112K and later found out the realtor had never even gone to the house, just looked at pictures the owner sent them via email lol

 

They've apparently known about the lien for like 2 weeks and said originally they were fine with paying it off. Now all of a sudden they are changing their minds and don't think they should have to pay it. But even though it wasn't their house originally, they now own it and it can't be sold with the lien. So unless they want to live there themselves or let it sit empty and keep paying the bills, they have to pay it. My old neighbor's ex-husband took out a lien without telling her. After they got divorced she tried to sell the house and found out about it. She had to pay it, not him bc she was the owner of the home. The lien was so much, she had to just forfeit the house to the bank and lost everything. It sucks but that's unfortunately how it works. It's just so frustrating bc I was supposed to have they keys last Friday and now idk if I'm even going to get the house. I have half my apartment packed up in boxes. I'll also be out around $1000 bc I had to pay for the inspection and appraisal up front and I don't get the money back.

 

Like I feel terrible for them that they have to pay that kind of money but don’t say it’s all ok, give me a closing date and then completely change your mind!! Thankfully I didn’t call my landlord yet so I’ll still have my apartment if it falls through but this shit is bad for my mental health lol and the rates went back up some so idk if I’ll even be able to find another house I can afford!

 

It’s wayyyy too hard to open Gatorade bottles. Tearing my hands up to shreds over here!

 

I can't say I've ever had an issue opening a Gatorade and I have one almost daily lol

They did start making energy drinks though and those are a BITCH to open

I love the pull tabs on cans instead of having to use the can opener but hate when the can is so full I have to hold the can over the sink while I pull the tab like it's going to explode because it spatters everywhere

 

I'm annoyed that whenever I eat Skittles I cut up the inside of my cheeks >_>

Haven't had any in ages but I saw at CVS that the lime ones are back and I got excited! Fuck green apple!
