I mean Tom went through a divorce, but him and Travis both got re-married.

Tom's dogs Henry and Luna passed away not long ago too. Maybe we will get a sad song about dogs. That would tear me apart.

  2. Im sure they need to “stick to the script” for the background screen animations, pyro, and other theatrics that are built into the set list

No Feeling this yet? I can’t imagine them not opening with it anymore as refreshing as a change up would be.

I actually really like how “quiet” they’ve been. I’m beyond stoked and would obviously be happy to hear more but I am definitely just as excited as I was at the beginning of the reunion, and the longer it takes the higher my hopes become. It seems like they’re truly taking their time with it.

I dig it. It's refreshing for a band or artist to not post a thousand teasers before the marketing teasers that preclude the other teasers of the teasers.

It would honestly be so cool if they did what MCR did and switched it up heavy every night, but I know that will never happen

  12. Mark is pretty adamant on playing only the stuff people know, aka the singles. They're not going to suddenly reinvent the wheel with their setlist on this upcoming tour. I don't expect more than 2 or 3 deep cuts, and i'm sure they'll be songs they have played live many times before. Anthem Pt 2, Aliens Exist, Stockholm Syndrome, stuff like that is probably as deep as they are going to go.

They were pretty hush hush about Neighborhoods it seemed.

The conspiracy theorist in me says they're keeping all of the good BTS content for a documentary.

Listened to California last night while doing cardio. Good cardio album but the whole thing really comes across as mostly product with a feel whimsical ballads and joke songs thrown in. Even some of the slighlty harder-edged stuff on the deluxe is aiming for the rafters. That's not entirely bad in my book as I enjoy a ton of bands that are mostly product but it did seem like a really calculated effort to recapture Blink's sunny days. I also imagine that Mark really led the charge as I'm sure Matt Skiba didn't want to overstep.

I get it’s a song they want to play to represent this era of the band but no one would miss it. There’s so many other songs I’d rather them play but hey what can ya do!

I think they were hush hush because they weren't actually working on it and had nothing to update anyone about. haha.

I would be really curious to see how many songs they had recorded (vs. written) when "Edging" was released and how many they've knocked out since then. Also like to know if they are done writing at this point or what the deal is.

Will Tom leave the physical property during Bored to Death? Or just be backstage until it’s done being played?

I wish they'd do a vinyl set like that, but man they just really don't do "cool" releases. No live album since TMTTS, no acoustic recordings, no b-sides are on streaming (Cali Deluxe aside), no official demos, etc. Give us the good stuff
