Their plan for a one-division Super League were brutally shot down, so the galaxy brains spearheading that plan thought "adding 2 or 3 more divisions" was the way to go? 14 more games a year?! When players are coming out now saying the schedule is crazy?

 

Interestingly, I can see City and even Chelsea saying yes due to the owners and current investigation.

I can’t see other English clubs doing it again, and the German clubs would never agree.

 

I suspect Juventus being in deep trouble advanced this. Also Barcelona sold all those economic levers and have run out.

 

I don’t think the super league is any sort of solution, but I think considering we’ve seen rumors of oil money taking over parts of Tottenham, Liverpool, and Manchester United in the last month, maybe a little less ire should be aimed at big clubs trying to find a way to stay relevant and profitable when others are just buying success with unlimited resources.

That being said, Juventus has clearly broken too many rules to have any sort of high ground in that regard at the moment. May be unpopular, but the La Liga giants have a little more footing to stand on.

Yeah it’s stressful as fuck on top of a new job on top of my wife leaving her job so like it’s real now and pressure is on. Prob looking no I or canton or Plymouth area I think. Most of my busiest work is Monroe/Ann arbor/Lansing so anywhere on the east side is fair game but fuckkkkk. I hate the prices out there.
