Betterrrrrr? I dunno. TOYPAJ is basically Enema pt 2, yeah, however the bad songs on TOYPAJ are worse and the great songs are probably better than Enema’s. Enema is just a perfect balance of great and good. No bad songs.

I see a lot of hate for Shut Up in here but it's one of my favorites on the album

I think TOYPAJ has higher highs but lower lows. Enema is much more consistent. Both great albums though.

I can sing you Enema front to back by memory but I can't even tell you which one Dysentery Gary is, my brain is bad at connecting track names to the songs even if I've heard it a million times

I’m actually shockingly good at memorizing track lists. Sometimes I’ll play a game with my fiancée where she scrolls through my library, picks a random album and I’ll tell her the tracklist

 

Their performance of “All The Small Things” on SNL was fun! Mark’s bow at the end was funny. Mark and Tom both wearing Hurley shirts, Dickies pants, and both using their surf green guitars. I can’t remember the last time I saw that performance. Especially in high quality.

 

I started to do this, and then I realized I think the only TOYPAJ tracks I would pick are Roller Coaster, Every Time I Look for You, and by default Please Take Me Home lol

Please Take Me Home is very good, but I would take Man Overboard over it. That’s probably a top 10 blink song for me

 

I’m pretty sure Shut Up is also Mark’s least favorite

For the record, I’m not a shut up hater, and there’s definitely a few songs I’d rank it above on TOYPAJ.

But I’m also of the opinion the Dude Ranch-Untitled run has no bad songs. Some better than others, for sure, but nothing bad

 

My TOYPAJ hot take (I guess it’s probably not that hot) is that all 3 serious bonus tracks are better than a few songs off the standard album

 

From the wiki page on TOYPAJ which sources Alt Press, no. 155. I have that AP issue somewhere in storage but when reading it way back then, this little detail went over my head. Anyway, this makes me adore Finn/"What Went Wrong" so much more now.
