Very thankful I got to see Black Sabbath a few times, but definitely should've tried harder to catch a solo Ozzy set

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

God FOB tickets were so much more than I was expecting them to be. Like the entire amphitheater was platinum aside from the very back rows.

Toronto was a disaster too. Last row of seats was $150+, so I just went for lawns for $60 instead

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

yup I did this too. I think some of the cheapest seats in the 400s started at $104 after fees but they would've been on the very edge in the far right or left sections

Getting tickets to bigger shows in Toronto has become a major headache lol

I was able to get FOB/BMTH tickets easily but the Lil Wayne tickets have gone insanely fast. Usually I can get the Citi presale to work for 99% of artists but he chose small venues

Hate to make another old man post but ticket prices for Fall Out Boy are ridiculous....100 bucks to sit in the last row...250 for pit...170 to be in the lower bowl...craziness...also the venue pulled tickets and indicated the show was sold out before placing them back on sale at higher prices....and for these reasons I am out

Only way I’m buying tickets on Ticketmaster is Klarna

Big venue shows are insanity anymore. Lawn tickets used to cap out at $50, and that was for shows that were guaranteed sellouts. I still haven’t been able to afford Blink tickets.

To think a pit ticket for the Hella Mega tour was $250 including fees

Yea I guess I'll pass on FOB...chepeast non-lawn seats for the Buffalo show are $120 after fees, and thats the last row of the amphitheaer.

Got my tickets to Thrice in Chicago! I was so stressed about it. I logged in 30 minutes ahead of time and then at the top of the hour it went to a screen that said "tickets are available soon, sit tight". After like 30 seconds of nothing happening I copied the URL into a new incognito mode and it went straight into the event, no queue or any line.

After I completed the purchase I noticed that that message was still up on that other window so I refreshed and it said I was in queue for the tickets.

Edit: Looks like the presale may have already sold out after like 3-4 minutes. Crazy

Wasnt going to even try for FOB today. Going to any large venue show at this point is just not worth it and honestly not even financially viable for my anymore. I'll gladly hit like 3-4 club shows (not that those are getting any cheaper either ffs) instead of paying the insane prices for a single large venue show. HOB Boston or Roadrunner are probably the biggest venues I'll go to anymore.

Legit question…who is actually paying these prices for arena shows now? For 4 friends to goto a show, you’re taking $600 easyyyyy.

all this fuss over Ticketmaster and its dastardly ways of doing things the past few months has surprised me in terms of how many fans for any big tour seem totally unaware of the 'Platinum Ticket' thing and what it means.

"TWO TICKETS FOR $3,000??! Wow, ____artist name here___ are assholes, fuck that" -- and similar sentiments, like, is this your first time using Ticketmaster? (And if so, then sheesh, that must be quite a shock).

That's wild. I bought Buffalo pit for $129+fees. Sucks that now all seats are subject to dynamic price scaling and not just the close ones.

Fuck. Anaheim Thrice show sold out instantly. Kept getting booted off with the message “someone else got these tickets before you.” Got it multiple times before tickets disappeared completely

Finch in Chicago sold out quick. Glad I got them off of Soundrink when they were available.
