I find my wife can tolerate Thrice... It's when I play stuff like The Acacia Strain, Knocked Loose and my favourite as of late Chat Pile she's like ughhhh.

She also doesn't mind ETID which is weird.

 

I was gonna jump, but after Thrice... I'm debating. Haha. I'll think about it in my lunch break.

The hilarious thing is my wife loves Dustin's solo work. She also loves Mat Kerekes. But I wouldn't dare play any Citizen for her.

 

Wife adores City and Colour and doesn't mind Alexisonfire.

As we've grown older my wife can't really tolerate the heavy stuff as much anymore.

We saw Citizen at Warped '13 and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed them haha.

I preordered the box set. So I've been sitting watching the EPs go up and seeing only one variant out of all the EPs selling out.

After the high of the a Thrice drop I was being loafty with the Houston Calls drop.

I'm still content with yellow! But I'll make sure not to loaft going forward haha.

 

My girlfriend is a speech therapist so she can't stand ANY kind of strained vocals. Even something as simple as Ace on the first two The Early November projects.

 

The ep variants that are sold out are the special variants for the boxes. I would have grabbed more than two of the releases, but ep’s on 12” is a bad value for the consumer.

 

I'm holding out hope that drive thru ends up doing sales on the ep's eventually... the current price point feels so high for the amount of songs on them.

 

Anytime I listen to Northstar and Glassjaw she always makes a comment saying Nick and Daryl sound like those Groan Tubes.

 

Didn't know Houston Calls was still so popular.

 

I will not hear any Nick Torres slander haha.
