Yea, Ascendancy, The Crusade, & Shogun are their best albums. The last two albums have been pretty decent as well.

 

My OCD lately has prevented me from enjoying music so I can trash every band now.

Trivium's style of music is one of the only genres I don't listen to even a little bit.

 

Trivium's just a fun bad to shit on for me, even when I used to be a pretty big fan back in my teens with Ember To Inferno and Ascendency. My problem with them is that their cleans have ALWAYS been terrible even back to the Ascendency days...my ears were just too enamored with the guitar work back then to care. If you like them, more power to you. If you dislike them, welcome to the club. We have black coffee and Dissection ready for ya.
