Alcohol and gambling advertising are definitely things I wish were regulated more strictly. Those ads are just everywhere. There should be limits on how much those companies can spend on advertising. They should also be required to do more than just slap on a “drink responsibly” blip at the end of alcohol ads.

at the very least need more balance between ads that highlights dangers of those things and ones that glamorize them.

 

Half the discussion on sports shows now is about gambling and the lines and what not. It’s absurd.

Just to give everyone an appreciation of how complicated creating these machines are, (what china is going up against) ASML had to sell a bit less than a 5th of itself to its customers samsung, tsmc, and Intel to generate the capital needed to invest in the R&D for developing EUV machines. They were willing to sell up to a quarter!
