I think at one point it was a front for a drug business or something like that. I’m sure it will come up on a search. Feel bad for anyone that stumbles on that site now and orders. It used to be great back in the day.

 

Oh yeah I remember getting Death Cab "Transatlanticism" first press in 2006 for dirt cheap.

 

So stoked to finally own this!

Todays mail. I know I’ve seen people complain about Target pressings, but this sounds great. I’m picking up on cool bass lines that I’ve never noticed before.

Do y'all put solo records with the band they're from or alphabetically by the person's name? I like them with the band.

 

Picked it up last night when I was out shopping. Sounds great, no complaints.

 

I do it by last name. UNLESS the solo artist’s name is not their real name. Like for instance, Lana del ray is in the L but miles Davis is with the D

 

Whoops I mean like if they're from a well-known band. Like I put my McCartney and Lennon with my Beatles and my Stevie Nicks with my Fleetwood Mac.

 

I definitely got all of the pre-Decemberunderground AFI records from them, including my Sing the Sorrow.

 

Playing this album entirely too loud while my wife is out.

 

I gotta get this. Such a classic.

I forgot, that Charles from Grade was Avril's bassist back then, and went on to be a Grammy award winning sound engineer for Bruno Mars.

But I definitely ordered so much sweet stuff back in the day! Pretty sure I still have my invoices and international shipping was so cheap back then. Especially for vinyl.

I play a lot of albums loud when my wife and kids are gone lol. Our 3 year old did like running around to Underoath though

my record sorting is always alphabetical, first name first, in release order unless otherwise stated (e.g. Taylor Swift TVs)
