Also the Bruce stuff is so disrespectful. He nearly dragged that garbage roster to a playoff spot last year, and they are slowly peeling off the bandaid so they can hire RICK TOCCHET a guy who has not done a goddamn thing at the head coach level, absolutely insane.

 

I don't know why people think so highly of Tocchet except that everyone who works in Arizona has an asterisk. Not like Vancouver is any better with that ownership group.

 

Had to look it up after I saw the follow-up. It's Dahlin, Orr, Potvin and Coffey to get to 50 points this fast under the age of 23. Orr did it in 32 and 33 games, Coffey in 39 games twice, Potvin in 41 games.

Dahlin doing it in 43 games does tie Leetch's pace from one of his seasons. I stole this all from an article I just read...and I'm not sure why Leetch isn't included TBH unless they're being extremely technical. It says his was from 1990-91. He was born in March 1968 so he would have turned 23, but not until after he reached the 50 point mark. Dahlin will turn 23 in April so I guess it's just a matter of framing it to be more exclusive. I think it's just as impressive including Leetch because he was so damn good

they’re never gonna do shit until the team is sold, that’s why moving to kentucky makes sense for them. I don’t even bother watching the games anymore, it’s completely hopeless.

Hopefully no other coach or player will want to work for this franchise again, probably the only way it ever gets sold.

They also fired trent cull who should’ve been fired years ago, dude was awful at developing players and was notoriously hated. While benning was just a puppet, he defended this guy for years so that was very overdue.
