Got Madonna tickets in the presale this morning. Not much left when I got through for Toronto but got two upper deck tickets for $105 each after fees, didn’t think that was too bad actually.

Also saw she has Bob The Drag Queen opening, that’s bad ass.

 

Can easily do MSG, possbily two nights as they did Barclays back in 2013 and they haven't played the city proper since 2019.

I am too, but seems like they fell victim to the ole sophomore slump.

 

Upheaval Fest in Grand Rapids is announcing an artist a day. First band announced today was Lamb of God.

I loved their first two albums but their movement away from rock kind of took away their uniqueness for me

 

Kind of the same, even really liked Use Me. All of the singles since then have just felt lifeless and generic. I really enjoy the pivot to a more electronic sound but the producers she’s worked with aren’t grabbing that edge to her sound.

I would love Lynn to work with a producer more in the experimental electronic world. If she could get Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor to produce her, I think she could really find a happy medium with her new sound.

 

IMO one of the more interesting things I'm anticipating with a non-Taylor Hawkins Foo Fighters lineup will be to see how, if at all, the live show is affected in terms of that.

Not that Josh Freese (or whomever is behind the kit for these shows later this year and beyond) can't do a jam session/extended fuck around thing, to me it would feel weird since that was *very* much speaking to Dave's relationship with Taylor on stage. but we'll see.

 

This is my favorite lineup they have done. Really shocked to see PVRIS on it but so happy. Plus Stand Atlantic and TBS.

 

John Mayer is touring early spring. Should be announced by the end of the month. Zach Bryan is doing arenas this summer. He blew up quick.

 

Hilarious to have 3 of the first four artists with such similar names!

Gonna be hilarious to see TBS try to headline PNC Bank Arts Center.

 

Interesting they’re doing it at Five Point in Irvine this year and not the Grove in Anaheim. That show is my birthday weekend. I’ll hit this up if Motion City is playing my date
