Yeah, agreed. Although it seems judging by the three Arsenal fans in Spurs first team that players aren’t that fussed tbf lol

Rice grew up in the Chelsea youth team with his best mate Mount, there’s more to it than just being a fan tbf. Doesn’t mean it’s done and dusted if they come in for him but it’s definitely an advantage.

fwiw I think Arsenal are better off with a Tielemans kind of midfielder next to Partey, Rice doesn’t really make much sense

  3. I shouldn’t put this into the universe being a Spurs fan….but Bellingham and Arsenal as currently constructed seem like a perfect match.

I’ve been hearing a lot of Bellingham to replace Modric and Kroos rumors

Yeah, Bellingham to Real feels likely

  6. Real and Barca establishing their midfields for the next decade of clasico is exciting.

    Gavi
    Pedri
    FDJ

    Camavinga
    Tchouameni
    Bellingham

If that’s how it plays out it’ll be fun to watch those groups grow together/against each other.

Picked up the Marcus Rashford children’s book to read to my son.

Feels like maybe the Arsenal interest in Rice should be taken with a pinch of salt. This is 1 day after Chelsea have hijacked a deal for Arsenals top target. Could just be Arsenal planting some stories in the press to feign interest in Chelsea's supposed summer top target.

Fede Valverde is in there for Madrid, too.

Yeah, those reasons are why I don’t actually think we’ll get him. The Mason Mount one is the big one for me. They’ve been best friends since they were kids. Can’t see him turning that down.

    I don’t mind this.

Maybe he’ll score his first league goal of the season lol, and help us extend our lead…

This is funny. Man is just the Gen Z Diego Costa.

On the pitch? Twat. Off it? Seems a decent bloke.

    It's all hell.

Arsenal are definitely going to leverage Eddie's jollof rice to get Declan over the line.

Saw an interesting video from above the FT incident from the NLD.

Shows Ødegaard, Zinchenko, and Arteta leading the players away from it all to celebrate. Then Xhaka sees Kieron Tierney is surrounded by Spurs players and he goes back go get him and make sure he’s safe, which is when Arteta panics lol. Xhaka is such a leader now.

IF (big if) we go on to do this, Granit will genuinely go from being booed off and frozen out in disgrace to a genuine Arsenal legend.

  18. Yeah, I’ve noticed this too. He always came off as humble and kind in the few little video packages I’ve seen of him talking about his life/career. But as soon as he steps on the field he’s looking for trouble.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

The whole Ramsdale NLD thing is such a good example of fans being absolute infants. I bet it's fairly safe to say that end of the ground was giving Ramsdale stick all half and I'm sure he was lapping it up. All he has to do is kiss the badge and they absolutely lose their minds. He's going to have a whale of a time next time he's at that ground. Unlike the silly dickhead who kicked him. Would have been overjoyed to see a steward clatter him off the fence.

Not sure what Richarlison was reacting so heavily to either, but then he seems to be an absolute toolbox in a Spurs shirt. Given Arsenal have been fined a couple of times recently, I hope Spurs see something for him.

  23. Again, 3 wins in 9 PL matches. It’s not hard to understand the criticism.

I’m not defending Richarlison because he clearly crossed the line, but it seems like Ramsdale was chirping as the whistle blew at the fans at that end. Which is fine. They were dishing it out to him and he gave some back. Richarlison was nearby and took exception. And to an extent that’s fine too. But he took it too far putting his hands on Ramsdale’s face. And then the fan took it even further. Hopefully the fan is banned and I’m sure Spurs will face a fine from it. Which is all fair and expected.

My thing with Richarlison is general, I get he wants to come in and ruffle feathers. I think there can be a place for that in games. But he just takes it too far. And a lot of times it feels like he’s so focused on doing that and it affects his overall effectiveness in the game. He isn’t producing really at all this season. Part of that may be his limited role, part of it could be a weird fit with Conte’s system so far. But he can’t take it to the lengths he has been while simultaneously not producing. It takes it from a bad look to an embarrassing look.

Really hoping Richarlison is Pienaar 2.0.
