When I first saw the play happen I definitely wondered why he didn't just give it back to Curry. But after watching replays I'm pretty sure he thought there wasn't enough time to give it to Curry. Seems like he thought that was the only chance he had which was understandable. But of course people on twitter are gonna twist that logic up.

 

No way the Wariors beat the Bulls record - they still have San Antonio twice, Memphis twice and play a dangerous Portland team next

Spurs games will kill them. I don't think Memphis gives them too much trouble, though. Portland could. Regardless, they're going to end up wearing themselves out before the playoffs.

 

That really won't matter i.e. Playoffs - the games are so spread out now they'll have plenty of rest

 

We all know Pop is going to sit his guys against the Warriors. I'm kinda hoping he plays them in San Antonio though, just to have a perfect home record, But he probably doesn't care.

 

I know it's kinda meaningless win, but god damn do I love this Celtics team.

Gutwrenching loss. I can't figure that last "shot" out. They are worn out. Every team plays them like it's game 7 of the finals.

Dude double teamed Paul George in the ASG to stop a record. He cares. If it comes down to that game it'll be amazing to watch.

 

If the Warriors come up short for the Bulls record, Spurs being undefeated at home becomes the more historic season.

Nobody could have ever predicted how good Steph and Draymond would up being just a couple years ago (in addition to being able to grossly underpay Curry because of injuries beforehand) and Lacob starts to take a lot of credit for things that for the most part had nothing to do with him.

 

The Spurs won't play their starters, so those will be exhibition games.

 

Bold strategy to guard one player with the entire team. Obviously it worked.

 

Wasn't around here last night, but what a fun ass night of basketball last night watching the Cavs-Hawks and Celtics-Warriors games.

 

Pop will probably play them for the home game. He said that the undefeated home record is probably "worth a cup of coffee," and the Spurs will have sole ownership over it now if they break the record.
