he's dj'ed at European festivals, I think he may have in the states some years ago but don't quote me on that

They did a mini-tour last year, so I see no reason they won't this year

 

Murder City Devils dates popping up. 4/15 in OC and 4/16 in San Diego. Probably just a mini tour

 

Coachella went straight party in the desert after being guitar heavy the last couple years. Tastefully curated though.

 

Jamey from Hatebreed is teasing “Milwaukee MetalFest.” I’m assuming Hatebreed will be on it

Definitely feeling 40 after reading those lineups. Now I know why parents were screaming at the clouds when I wanted CDs by bands they never heard of

just catching up on the afi/muna convo

afi is a legacy band, so even if their typical headlines are roughly the same, or even if they’re a little less than muna, they’ll get the advantage for fests given that more of the general public will surely know afi over muna

 

Truth! I thought by coming on these message boards I was hip but I am clearly not

 

i feel like that every time i see a coachella or bonnaroo lineup. it's not my scene man

 

Coachella in particular is always head scratcher for me beyond like lines 2-3, whereas Bonnaroo I can usually pick out a few names in the smaller print I like.

Boston Calling, by the time you get to the 4th, 5th act on each day, it's like someone who can barely fill a 300-400 person room.
