Boston Calling line-up dropping tomorrow at 10am EST.

Foo Fighters, the Strokes, and Paramore expected to be on the line-up. (Gap in tour dates for Paramore. But the other two it's just because they were on last year and dropped.) Kinda wondering if they'll share a few artists with Adjacent too; Japanese Breakfast and Jeff Rosenstock are the two I'd have the most hope for actually popping up on the bill.

Pretty weak undercard, but with those headliners I'm sure it won’t matter

 

Friday and Sunday both have incredibly strong top 3's but I'm gonna pass on this given the prices.

I might see about getting a cheap single-day for Sunday when the dust settles because that's the one day with anything on the undercard I'd be even passively interested in.

EDIT: Am I out of touch or is that undercard just... Really weak? It looks like a bunch of "seen them on festival posters the last 1-2 years despite never hearing their names mentioned anywhere else" artists or the most part.

 

At my age I could probably only handle three sets a day if i were to attend a festival so this works well for me haha

yeah, give me top heavy fests all day. i’m not showing up to a festival until no earlier than 5:30/6pm anyway, so couldn’t care less who’s playing at 1pm

spend more $$ up top. this lineup rules in that sense

 

They killed it with the top of lineup at BC but it falls off way too quickly.

The band is called q tip bandits by the way, they didn't bury the goat rapper as I initially thought

 

Spent all their money on headliners, but pretty strong showing. Nice to see Paramore as a headliner these days.

The Linda Lindas and The Aces are really cool. Literally don’t know a single other band on the undercard for any day haha.
