This. I’m taking my dad who has never watched AEW before. He loved the DEFY/Prestige shows I’ve taken him to so I hope he enjoys this. At least Double J is on the card so there’s someone he’s familiar with haha

I would if both didn’t shove dumbass posts on my feeds just because I like some wrestling promotions. I mute and block yet the shit always comes back after awhile lol

I agree with all of this, it’s why it bothers me so much when people nitpick AEW and then sauce all over the bloodline and forget the 2947371 shitty things about WWE.

Watching WK and Dynamite on weds brought back some enthusiasm for me. I have been so meh on wrestling the past 6 months.

 

Yep Rampage and BOTB back to back. Should be a pretty hot crowd since it’s Portland’s first AEW show.

 

So does Vince open up SD?

 

It was said he’s supposedly won’t appear on TV and has no plans to change or be involved with how the shows are running

 

I’m sure that’s what he is saying now. We all know this is all for ego so I wouldn’t put it past him. I don’t see anyone buying the company and keeping him in charge. Hopefully Comcast buys it and keeps everyone but Vince lol

 

It definitely eats Vince up that Trips has had this success running the company, no doubt in my mind that old jerkoff is trying to sabotage it.

I less think it's active sabotage, and more just basic selfishness, that if he can't be running the day to day and creative, he'd rather just cash out - despite it undercutting his daughter and son-in-law.

 

Seriously why hasn't TK made this guy a heel yet? You can't be this naturally douchey and hateable and still be a babyface for this long.

 

He's neither a face or a heel, he's simply irrelevant. I don't think anyone in AEW cares enough about him to bother overhauling his character.
