I don't disagree - but it was a great segment because it was pretend. I can't imagine him maintaining an effective babyface character for an extended period of time. Which isn't to say I want him running back the same ol' heel stuff either - I just think there're plenty of other avenues he can take as a villain, and it's on him now to explore those.

That venue is way too small for that big of show. I think the rematch would be Forbidden Door and WK next year.

If MJF went on to try and become his own brand of babyface like all the great draws of the past have done, it would have been the best possible move for AEW. Fans were fucking BEGGING FOR IT.
