I know it's TMT but damn this Conjurer album is so good

 

Can't tell if this is serious or not because of today's climate, but Phil's touring act for a bit was called Phillip H. Anselmo and The Illegals.

yea this Pantera "reunion" has not sat right with me from the start. If Vinnie were still around and agreed to it, it'd be one thing. Zakk would still be about the only person I'd feel would be an acceptable fill-in for Dime. But a Pantera reunion where neither of the brothers are there, let alone because they're both dead, just feels really hollow and sad to me.

why have I not listened to the Deadbody album until today

I'm working a wacky 6 PM to 3 AM shift tonight and I'm gonna pass the hours listening to metal

 

ok it's super dead the boss let me go way early. I already finished my tea and now my afternoon nap was wasted!!

In other news, this Haunter albums slays as well.

Happy new year to the trvest thread on the site. This is the year I listen to all the metal.

 

I feel the same way. A lot of 2022 releases didn’t really capture my attention and I was much more into hardcore last year so this year I’m definitely gonna try to get back into listening to more metal.

Metal Archives held their annual poll for best albums of the year. I've only listened to 2 of these (Immolation and Sumerlands) and they both made my top 10 as well. Can't believe a BG album won out, it was apparently very close (like 2 votes close) between that and Immolation. I know what I'm listening to today!

I haven’t listened to Immolation since the lead singer told me to fuck off just because I wanted to say hi to Rob Barrett from Cannibal Corpse at a show like ten years ago

 

my buddy is still PISSED at Jason Newsted for blowing him off when he was trying to get an autograph at Ozzfest in 2003

 

lol years ago I asked one of the guitarists of Becoming the Archetype (I think they had 3 at the time) if he could take my CD booklet for Zao's The Fear is What Keeps Us Here backstage to get the band to sign it. To his credit, he did, and they signed it. At least someone did. Who knows if some random roadies signed their names and I've believed a lie all these years.
