God, he goes full Hornsby in "circle," I love it. Very maximalist and bombastic by the end, but totally earned.

 

I *kind of* like '29 #Stafford APTS'

 

yeah it's a pretty goosebump inducing moment for sure. i'll say that in the liver performance the drums just fucking HIT at the end and i miss that a bit. but it's still incredible.

 

"8 (circle)" is the longest song on the album, but it's so fucking good that it feels like the shortest. Always ends too quickly for me haha.

 

Justin Vernon will always be the king of misleading me with his melodies. There are tons of moments on each record where I think mentally I know where's he headed in a chord progression or transition or what have you, and I'm just always fucking off. He always waits two more bars to bring the vocal phrase back or some shit, throws me for a loop. I love it so much. Understanding these songs is like cracking a code more often than not. This will surely be another record by him and his crew that just begs for so many repeated listens and deeper understandings. Can't wait. There hasn't been an album release quite like this since BI, BI.

that 'the days have no numbers' part in 00000 million is sampled from a fionn regan track that was pretty big over here 10 years ago.

 

My Favourite song at the moment. Just his voice, a vocoder and a melody. I love it.

Stoked to see everybody loving it. Listening to the actual studio version makes me realize how awful that leak was.

 

I just don't get much out of it.

 

Wish I would get the chance to see him live again.

Strong contender for aoty. Need to give it some more spins. I feel like I say this every year but what a good year for music.

 

I work outdoors and today it's supposed to rain pretty heavily right around the time I'm supposed to work, so I'm really hoping that I'll get called off so I can just come home and listen to this.

The very end of _45_ leading into 00000 wasn't there in the leak either. This is like hearing a whole new record.

 

Gonna listen to in not leak quality later today, but after listening to it for the past month, I'm pretty comfortable in saying this is the best record of the year.

 

This is the first song that has given me a 'holy shit' reaction. Hearing his (mostly)? raw voice this late in the album is just really refreshing.

 

This might be the best day for music in the whole year. 3 AOTY contenders

 

Really don't like the first three tracks but everything after blew me away. This is probably my fav Bon iver album
