Never had good self esteem. Big part of relationships for me is learning that the other person might actually be able to find me attractive. getting better though. I do recognize I have other traits that are worth a lot, personality wise.

 

I feel this. I am always in a little disbelief that someone could like me. But the silver lining is it's always a really pleasant charge when I'm reminded she does. Trade-off.

My situation seems good. We're getting gradually more comfortable with each other, but we don't talk much between dates and I have no idea how serious she is

 

My low self worth got me in a bad relationship so I've spent years reevaluating. I thought I was doing better but last time I dated someone they remarked on my low self esteem so maybe not.

I think I have a self-depreciating sense of humor tho, mostly about smarts. I wish I didn't cause it sometimes leads to ppl underestimating me, talking down to me, and making those jokes too (I'll make them about myself but don't like when others remark on my intelligence idk)

Yes I'm the same way! I think it's a mixture of wanting to point out my perceived shortcomings before anyone else can, coupled with a genuine and weird desire to play down any accomplishments I have. Like celebrating my achievements is just not a thing lol

I made it to Junior's in Girl Scouts as a child. I have 5172 XP on Duolingo. My Sim got a promotion. You tell me!

edit: Make that 5202 XP! Those achievements keep rolling in!

 

my biggest achievement is the 40k achievement score I have on Xbox 360/One tbh.

secondly would be my hat/jersey collection. Those make me happy.

 

I....well, let's just say (hypothetically) that the Windows 10 Anniversary update bricked my desktop and I'm resentful about it....and it's depressing to frame my love life in terms that echo with myself as an IT 'professional'.
