    Player's Log: Atelier Ryza 2

Finished at 38 hours, about 20 hours less than its predecessor. I didn't rush through it, but I for sure did not spend as much time abusing the alchemy system/farming gems/planting seeds. My gear was so OP in the original that the post-game superboss did like 1 damage per hit.

Overall, the sequel feels easier. I beat the final boss fairly easily without any KOs, and my gear was only the 4th tier (out of 5). I didn't even craft every item available to me by the endgame. The whole going through ruins and searching for fragments got a little old and felt pretty linear, but I still had fun with it. And Fi is hella annoying, your typical stupid little cutesy JRPG familiar/animal/creature that always exists.

Still has the same relaxed and chill feeling of the first one. Battle system is improved on in nearly every way. It's easier to chain skills and you don't have expend your AP to raise tactics level. There were also a lot of new systems in this game not present in the first - stuff I didn't even touch. Cool for customization purposes but overall not super necessary.

There's a postgame superboss in this one as well and I for sure could make more powerful gear. I think I'll shelve it for now because it's Tactics Ogre time bb

Yes, but that one is pretty big and was always well received

It has a big one, they’ve added a ton to the game and continue to support it. It’s not for me, but they’ve done a great job of changing the narrative on that game

can’t complain having both services because they offer the same thing as this point

I have both fallout 76 and Star Wars downloaded on my Xbox thanks to GAME PASS

  16. Finished Immortals Fenyx Rising, finally. Been putting off that last boss fight for months--didn't expect it to throw me into a final vault with half a dozen puzzles to solve as well haha. Pretty satisfying story conclusion to an already great game

Iirc, I think FO76 has like 11 million active players or something like that.

FO76 is fairly fun for the price now. My friend and I played a lot of it and if you need more Fallout it will scratch most of that itch.

The base building is pretty fun and I liked being able to just run quests with my friend and dress up in dumb gear
