I am not ready for this to most likely be Patty last season as a Shark unless he over performs or takes a serious hometown discount.

 

I am rooting for the Sharks to win the cup, since the Bruins certainly won't #Justice4Jumbo

This game is really making it apparent how nonexistent our forward depth is.

 

we already knew this but still just imaging Matthews being a 3rd line center is crazy.

 

It seems crazy, but I think Babcock is just pretending to be a coach from EA NHL 17. Matthews will break the all time scoring record in his first 5 games, and be demoted to the AHL because he took a bad penalty.

 

He'll be their top line center in less than a year. It's not really a big deal. Plus, they'll probably get another top 5 pick, so win win

 

starting on 3rd line. he'll make is way up. gotta prove himself.

 

I was more talking about how Matthews being their 3rd line center is already better than like half the league's other teams 3rd line centers.

I've seen people throw out the idea of stoner +Theodore or Montour just to get some cap space. I would love that idea.
