Scowl, Bizkit, and maybe Finch are the only bands on this I’d really care to see

Its silly to do fo an announcement this way with these kinds of bands.

So far for me Bizkit, Scowl, Finch and Saosin are all that appeal to me. I’ve been a huge say anything fan but Max’s recent behavior has really turned me off.

Bizkit, Finch, and Carnifex for me so far

this is obviously just the 2nd announcement of bands meant for the 16th that they decided to do this way.

    Die rad.

Limp Bizkit, Yung Gravy, and Saves The Day for me. None of which would get me to drive the two hours to the festival.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I'd watch Bizkit, Gravy, Mayday Parade, Say Anything, Valencia, We the Kings, and Scowl, but again, nothing I'd need to travel for.

Limp bizkit. Steve aoki. Say anything. Saves the day. Saosin and mayday parade. I would see.

But I've also seen all those acts a few times.

They better hope they got an exclusive on Bizkit because if they announce another festival show or a run of US dates, this fest literally has not one unique act for $400 in a parking lot in New Jersey.

I’ll wait to critique this lineup more until they are done with phase 2. Feels like most of the artists announced so far are on the lower end of the bill, could be wrong though. Definitely no headliners from phase 2 yet

Blackbear and Attila are definitely not what John D would consider bottom half of the bill

I don’t think it’s far fetched to see Blackbear in the top 12 of the lineup. He’s had a few big hits and has a pretty loyal fan base.

But I’ll laugh my ass off if Attila, Hollywood Undead and Saves the Day are in the top tier.

I think they will sadly headline the heavy stage. Them doing an album play kinda guarantees that. Also saves the day is doing an album play plus more so I could see them closing a smaller stage as well

Man I don’t know much about all these bands but it’s not the vibe I thought they were going for. Not sure the younger demographic is gonna be able to swing AC in May. Rates won’t be cheap at hotels. Saved me some money at least.

POORSTACY is one of the Travis Barker pop punk rappers. Not a complete unknown but def not a needle mover

PoorStacy is actually a decent get. Drew pretty decently at Riot Fest and gets plenty of playlist placement... Definitely for a younger crowd.

That said, I'm still not sure who this is for. It all feels like somebody was told to book a line-up that would "get people nostalgic for Warped Tour and Bamboozle in the mid-2000s" but went for the aspects of that era that people aren't particularly nostalgic for and don't have the proper headliners to support the undercard from the looks of it.

Man, I have no idea what’s going on. These announcements are actively getting worse and less relevant. In all seriousness of these four, the most relevant recently was ISMFOF who were offended they weren’t asked to play When we were young.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I’m seeing all these acts I’ve never heard of get announced, only to check them out and see they have 100k+ Instagram followers. I feel so old. I’m only in my mid-20s but I feel so fucking old. What the fuck

If you look at the lineup page on the website, you can see who the supposed headliners/bigger artists are as they’re listed up top before it moves to alphabetically starting with Attila.

    Right now it’s:

    Blackbear
    TBA
    Limp Bizkit
    TBA
    Steve Aoki
    TBA
    Hollywood Undead
    TBA
    Mayday Parade
    Rick Ross
    Say Anything
    TBA
    Teddy Swims
    TBA
    Yung Gravy
    Saosin

Either their lineup page is horribly misleading or they don’t have a bigger headliner than Blackbear lmao

Remember when we were laughing at the rumors of Pitbull and The Color Fred being part of this phase? Those would actually be the best announcements at this point
