I’m trying to set my goal next year for games complete and I’m thinking 15 games throughout the year should be a good goal.

I don’t think I’ll distinguish much between indie and triple A but that seems like a good number.

    Player's Log: The Amber Throne.

Only played a little bit more of this one, but I'm still enjoying it.

It's interesting because so far, as near I can tell, it's like Chrono Trigger in that enemies will appear on the map and running into them prompts a battle, but unlike Chrono Trigger, once you beat that enemy, they stay defeated. I haven't scientifically tested this, but so far it seems to be true.

That's refreshing, because it means that I will only ever need to be as strong as there are enemies that exist. If there are no enemies to fight, I cannot possibly get any stronger.

Also, the exploration seems a little freer than I expected. There's definitely a linear path, but there are little out of the way areas that I seemingly don't need to go to that have mysterious objects inside, and I'm curious to learn more.

Unfortunately, the World Map, as it were, is broken up between actual dungeon-style areas, so I'm not sure if there's a way to backtrack in the game besides the long way around. I kind of hope there is something at some point, cause I skipped some stuff earlier in the game that I now feel more comfortable exploring.

Oh well. There's no achievements in this game, so I guess as long as I finish the game, that's my 100%.

I guess there’s a pirates of the Caribbean story line in sea of thieves and it was honestly fun as heck.

it had a bunch of puzzles and stuff so it truly felt like a pirate experience.

Players Log: currently back to working on the last challenge for TrueAchievements. I have been using a lot of games but the one that I plan on going back to is Midnight Fight Express. Its like a top down beat em up with the Arkham combat system. The combat feels very rewarding and the chapters are super short. I also like how you upgrade your moves and even customize how your character looks.

Oh, it is developed from one of the creators of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and uses the stuntman from GoW 2018.

One of my favorite games of this year.

there's a recap built right into the main menu, but I strongly suggest playing GoW 2018 just because I fucking love it to death.

oh it's not because of the game, it's just a lot of hours gaming, and it's not the only game I've been playing either.

    Oh well, it's flu season.
