The festival was a giant mess (logistically) in 2021 and i refused to go in 2022 due to it. With that said, I did very much enjoy myself in 2021 and would consider going in 2023.

I went to see Trust Company at a Warehouse Music in summer of 2002 for an album release in-store performance and meet and greet. Still have the signed setlist and some guitar picks. We immediately went from the signing to see Seether at a tiny bar where they played for like a dozen people (this was RIGHT after Disclaimer dropped). I was trying to get my CD signed after the show and had signatures from the entire band minus the drummer. Finally found the drummer in the parking lot with a homeless dude trying to smoke the tiniest roach I've ever seen.

    Wild times.

I went in 2021 and it was nightmare unless you went SUPER early to the fest each day, I swore I would never go back, they gave me free tickets to this year and my 2 favorite bands played so I went and it was a shit show again. Never again for real this time lol

2021, bought tickets early, never got them. I was reassured I would be able to get in when I got there… twelve hour drive and turned away even before I was able to park by a state trooper due to capacity issues.
Tried to get a chargeback, company scanned tickets that weren’t used to say they were. Now I can’t buy tickets from eTix because of them as well…

Let’s play a little Christmas game. If you could pick any 5 active artists to come to your city next year and get tickets to see them, who would they be?

    I’ll go:

    1. Rancid (legacy band for me I’ve somehow never seen before, it’s just never worked out)

    2. AFI (see above)

    3. Yellowcard (counting them as active because I’m pretty sure they will be in ‘23)

    4. Bowling For Soup (don’t really listen to these guys much nowadays, but they aren’t allowed into Canada and thus haven’t played here in an eternity, and they were huge for me growing up)

    5. Limp Bizkit (still sucks ruled, I need to finally see them)

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

Considering Knoxville is a small market surrounded by a couple huge ones and we never get the best stuff, I’ll let myself daydream:

    1) Thrice on a TAITA 20 year tour
    2) Silent Planet
    3) Beyoncé
    4) Dua Lipa
    5) 100 Gecs

A Blink reunion and a Postal Service reunion have always been on my wish list, and even though I’ve got the tickets already I’ll still include them:

    1. Blink 182
    2. The Postal Service
    3. Something Corporate
    4. Sara Bareilles
    5. Boygenius

  13. I guess I would just knock out five of the artists I’ve never seen and really want to.

    Taylor Swift
    Converge
    U2
    Strike Anywhere
    Vampire Weekend

Based on bands I have never seen:

    1. Taylor Swift (she's been in my bucket list the longer after MCR)
    2. Boygenius
    3. 100gecs
    4. Depeche Mode
    5. Rolo Tomassi

I ended up hitting The Ghost Inside/ADTR in Cincinnati and Coheed and Cambria with The Used that weekend in Columbus instead. I talked to the TGI crew who played the day prior at BRRF and they told me how bad it was to do…

    Alexisonfire
    Chunk! No captain Chunk
    Glassjaw
    Faith No More
Lorna Shore (saw them twice in 2022 but Pain Remains was my AOTY)

And an added non active band, Every Time I die is my favorite band of all time. Would love for them to find a way to put their differences behind them.
