I mean, it would be nice to have the first two without the awful quidditch CGI.

 

Also part of the fun of watching the films was sort of going along with the books. You didn’t know how the book ended when the first 4 films came out.

 

But I think that lead to decisions being made for the movies that would have gone differently if they knew how it ended.

What I’m saying is, the more I think about it, the more I’m cool with a reboot.

 

Well, as long as they fulfill my prediction that Benedict Cumberbatch should fill Alan Rickman's shoes in an inevitable reboot, I'll give it a chance. But there's no way they can capture the same ensemble of British acting royalty.

 

How can Hollywood be so out of ideas that they'd reboot this already.

And how could a company want anything to do with anything related to jk rowling

I think Universal opening EPIC Adventures in 2 years has something to do with it, too, given there's another HP land opening up. Her contract though is iron clad when it comes to being advantageous for her and Uni unable to break it.

 

I am very interested to see what they do with the inevitable reboot. This series means a lot to me, and even if JK is trash, I'd still love to see this story told again by new actors in a new setting.

 

But what about the next 4 Fantastic Beasts movies?!?!?

 

It was supposed to be two more. But seeing as the box office has dropped for each film, they may likely move on.

 

I would love it if they went the HBO series route and did 10 episodes per book.

 

Reviews are dropping now. They’re saying it’s pretty good. Apparently there are some technical issues, but I’m glad it’s not a mess.

 

Really looking forward to playing it in a month or two when I can snag a used copy. Looks great

can't wait to start this one tomorrow. harry potter was hittin was i was in 4th grade and continued to be a big part of my childhood between the books and movies for years after that. i think it's where a lot of my love for hype and being excited for new releases all spawned from. so i'm very much looking forward to the nostalgia that this game is going to give me.

 

Best Buy shows the game doesn't come out for Switch until 7/25?

Fair to say that this wont be all that great on Switch, right?

 

There’s a chance, but there was a recent interview that said they are using the PS4/Xbox One builds for the switch so it will run better. If it runs anything like the witcher 3 port or No Man’s Sky then it will still be really good.

 

Bummed the Switch release is sooo far away still. My wife will love this game.
