Picked up a wonderful 180g gatefold of Daughter's Not to Disappear for only $14 last night

 

Yo! Our podcast is doing a vinyl challenge in October. For those who don't know, you basically post a photo of a record based on the day's category. We're giving away Deja Entendu at the end of it. Should be fun.

 

Did really well at the Fall 2016 Brooklyn Flea Record Fair this past weekend. I managed to find a copy of:

The Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim (1st press, red and white swirl)

I also got my pre-order of Microwave - Much Love. Already quite the amazing album.

 

Does anyone here have many 7-inch vinyl records? I have a decent amount and I'm trying to figure out how to display them

I have like... 6 mini crates full of 7" records, haha. Someday I want to go through and actually make a list of them all. They're all GREAT.

I have one shoebox full, I'm pretty sure that's what it is, and those are just sitting in a dresser drawer at the moment. I have a kallax where I display all my 12s but since the 7s have nothing on their spine, my ocd would be going haywire.

 

They have a small section on my Kallax but it's really not ideal. I'm thinking about pricking up a crate that's forward facing so I could flip through them like I would at a shop for example.

 

I store my 7" records on my blu-ray/book shelf.

was surprised to get my copy of Beyond Control from King's Kaleidoscope in the mail yesterday. opted for the plain black variant, but it's still a beautiful package. rad etching on the D-side, as well.

That's at least my interpretation of the tweet they sent out. "For Now they are only available at shows." Fact is, the tour variant of maroon and white is already up on the webstore.

I checked my usual vinyl news sites for an update on either, but couldn't find anything to confirm. Stay tuned...
