Yeah both are amazing.

 

Yeah this was much more horrific than I ever anticipated. The story they start with in Kentucky just got worse and worse and worse.

A family member used to work in corporate for a major fast food chain and one of the scams that became popular the last few years was kind of the same thing but the scammers would give some reason for an employee to go to a nearby gas station to buy miscellaneous gift cards and then come back and give the caller the info or whatever and I used to be baffled how someone would be dumb enough to believe that shit and then I watched THIS fucking documentary thing and just cannot wrap my head around any of it happening and for as much to happen as did and to so many people just Jesus Christ seems like very few people have any circuits working in their brains and give absolutely no thought to anything. “A voice on the phone told me to do this so I guess I’m absolutely required to!”

Just watch is such a lifesaver. Has legit saved me money multiple times when I was about to rent a movie and then found its its streaming on a sub I have.

A lot has probably not aged well and the ending fucking atrocious. The end is so bad I can’t watch the show at all.

 

It’s so corny and the only person I like so far is Jason Segel’s character

 

I was so ready for the show to end (finally watched it in like 2020 so I knew what happened) that I didn’t even care about it

 

I can't imagine anyone starting that show now and liking it. Definitely of its time.

 

I’m going to give it a few more episodes but I doubt I’m sticking with it.

 

weird how it got away with being a show from the 2000s-10s where the main cast and majority of side characters are all white despite them living in new york. friends at least had the excuse of starting in the 90s

 

first season starts out rough before it improves, to be fair

 

TBF I don't think most sitcoms besides A few exceptions like Seinfeld, Frasier, ect really hold up.

I tried watching That 70s Show for the first time in years recently and yeah it didn't hit like it did when I was 13.

 

Seinfeld holds up so well.

I also tried to start that 70s show again and got like 5 episodes in and was like nah I’m good.

 

whatever episodes I watched of how I met your mother I was just like I don't want to be friends with any of these people haha

 

One thing I've been tempted to do lately is use Hulu and Disney+ to recreate my favorite TV lineup of all time: FOX Sundays from the 90's to early 2000's. I wanted to see if I could pick A random Sunday and watch the exact Futurama, King of the Hill. Simpsons, Malcolm In The Middle, and X-Files episode that aired that date
