don't make me tap the sign

no, but in all seriousness, after I ironed out all the graphical kinks and getting past the first area, I am having a lot of fun and am actually taken aback by the depth of the game. I have a gun that freezes enemies.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

Yep just gotta hold off on attacks even to the point of discomfort. I think you can change the battle setting from active to wait? That might be older versions tho

starting my 2022 wrap up for video games. breaking it into three parts of every game i beat this year and at the end i'll mention a handful of games i never wrapped up but spent a good chunk of time with. initial 10 dropping tonight im just going in order of when i finished them but i'll have a little score with each blurb too.

A quick Google search suggested being level 11 or 12. If you're not that, then consider getting that.

I decided to get MW2 since they decided to put it on sale for $60 and I got a $50 Xbox gift card, Shipment 24/7 needs to be a permanent feature

Player's Log: At Home Alone Final. 100%.

I'm not going to complain too much about a free game, but this game was near incomprehensible, partially because it's a psychological mindbender, but also because it was really badly translated into English.

It's an RPG Maker game that was originally released as At Home Alone, then more was added and it became At Home Alone II, and then even more was added and it took its Final form.

It's... weird, to put it mildly. There are certainly weirder psychological horror RPG Maker games out there, but that doesn't make it any less weird in general.

Anyway, one of the achievements required me to play the entire game a second time, a chore I only suffered because playing the game takes a couple hours at most, especially once you know what you're doing.

    Bonus Player's Log: Vampire Survivors.

I played a little bit of this, and my opinion is hovering between totally understanding the appeal and why someone would be addicted to this, and also feeling like I've seen this type of game before a lot, and not finding anything that's really separating it out from the pack except catching the gaming community at the right time.

It feels like the Among Us or Fall Guys of 2022.

To its credit, it is really easy to pick up and play, and there's a mindlessness to it that I'm sure is refreshing to people as a palate cleanser between larger games. I mean, all you do is move around, but with precision.

It was kind of fun once I got garlic and was able to run screaming into waves of bats on purpose.

It feels like something I might play as something to do while I listen to music.

Anyway, the next game I plan to tackle is this one right here:

Garlic is pretty useless later in runs, evolved bible is great

I like that too, but it seems to me that Garlic encircles you completely while the Bible goes around you. Garlic is less work, IMO.

Entirely possible. I only did four runs and only lasted ten minutes each before I stopped and moved on to something else.

What I'm saying is that these are initial impressions, and I'm not making the Garlic comment as a tips and tricks kind of thing.

Oh no, I know. Garlic is good early game. My post was mostly meant as a reply to @DarkHotline

Garlic evolved is legit. But yes, there are other weapons when evolved that are far more useful.
