I have over 100 hours in Horizon but I still don’t have the platinum yet lol. Also Spyro was my girlfriend, she probably played close to the amount of hours as I did HFW lmao.

Haven’t gotten to finish Ragnarok either so I’m sure that’ll be in my top 5 once I finish it.

About that…

 

An apparently amazing JRPG inspired by Chrono Trigger that I completely missed the boat on

 

I can attest to this. I’ve only been playing it for a couple days but I’m hooked

 

Playing Witcher 3 at 60 FPS is fantastic. Also straight up, the quality mode is meh. Like it’s okay but the game looks the same either way (on a Series X) and the boosted frame rate is nicer.

 

Just because the math behind 1080p to 4K and 30fps to 60fps is the same does not mean they should ever be considered comparable trade offs.

As someone who plays on a 65 inch LG OLED, a tv tailor made for next gen video game fidelity, it’s never even remotely been close to worth it as a trade off. Every single game I’ll flip over to 4K for five minutes here or there for the novelty of slow panning around decent looking environments and then play the rest of the game at a decent frame rate.

 

I guess it’s because I love the Ray Tracing mode on Cyberpunk so I figured it would be as much of a game changer but not really. The enhancements are not as noticeable ultimately.

 

Is that similar to what Insomniac has been doing this gen which is 60FPS at 1080 but with RT? That’s the best of both worlds because i’ll take next gen lighting over image quality any day.
