I’ve seen OLP at Rama a couple times. Always a great show. Have fun!

 

One of my fav venues! It’s unreal how close you can get and the tiered setup is cool if you prefer to chill in the back.

 

Same here. Once with Matthew Good Band and the other with I Mother Earth. I believe this will be my 6th time seeing OLP. Thank you, I appreciate it!

Went there on a whim one time to see the Wonder Years/letlive. and drove 6 hours back to PA for a 6am shift at work right after. One of my favorite memories. Fell in love with the venue. It's such a great place to see a show.

They said there's "multiple" reasons so...

I know the Darling Fire posted something today about how they were "looking for a fill-in drummer." So something might be up with Steve.

I'm also wondering if their placement on the bill may have had something to do with it. I don't usually assume that sort of thing but... It's weird that they were billed under Samiam, right?

Might have fallen under the "eh, we don't really need to play this show anymore" category maybe?

Was definitely weird that they were billed as the opener. Hopefully they just decided to do a full US headliner instead or something.

 

Any idea if this will be the hologram tour/set. Recent shows have been shorter and only 11 songs but still listed as Wonderful Future tour

 

could be illness, could be unprofitable for them to play, could be drama lol

 

Kris probably booked them without even the contract signed yet.

 

Honestly, it's probably all of this combined that basically made them say "Nah, fuck it."

I mean, I wasn't going to say it that explicitly but...

 

The Finer Things 10 year anniversary tour happening early next year.

 

I'm not certain either way but I think it's leaning towards that it will NOT have the holograms. Honestly though, I was kind of thinking the same thing. Some of the band members of OLP were talking about different things in their official Discord channel, earlier tonight too.

As far as songs played, I'm pretty sure they will play quite a few more than 11. I don't know exact details but yeah.

 

The Pixies are doing a North American tour next year where they aren’t gonna have a predetermined setlist any night of the tour.

 

If anyone’s looking for a fun trip to Denver

 

that would have me excited to see Champs again.
