Skiing terrifies me. Between Michael and Gaspard Ulliel

  5. Some more information from people who were in the press box with Grant when he passed. Happened in the middle of the shootout. No defibrillator on scene is tragic. Devastating to read.

Looks like Armando Broja has just suffered a very bad knee injury in a friendly. Wouldn’t expect him to play again this season.

Ngl, I wish journalists stopped using us in nonsense stories to get clicks, because it fucking works.

He’ll be going to PSG, it’s obvious.

Could be Mendes throwing names out to try and tempt clubs. Aston Villa have also been linked with Felix this morning, which is just laughable. Mendes used the same tactics with Ronaldo over the summer.

  17. I know he's a pretty good player, but is Felix really worth the 130m price tag that's thrown around?

No, Atleti's just in trouble financially.

  19. @Nick I read something today about Spurs having interest in Dani Olmo which would be great for your dislike of the team lol

Absolutely not. £70m maybe. But Atleti can hardly admit they would take a £40m loss on him because their over-the-hill manager doesn't like him lol.

  22. Spurs supposedly want two players in January, "a defender and an attacker".

My wishlist would include Pedro Porro as the defender because I think an upgrade at RWB would be massive. It is a clear weak spot on the team right now. As good as Kulu has been, adding a threat at RWB would only make him better. We've been linked but I'd expect it to be a hard deal to complete in a January window.

For the attacker, I don't really know. Felix would be cool and we've been linked before, but I think he'd snub us for a club that can guarantee more minutes. I think we'll be targeting someone who can come off the bench and play either as a CAM or RW.

Still don't understand how Porro did not fit in at City at all. Feels totally like a Pep defender to me. Though I think we still have a buy back clause with him, not sure though.

As someone who is neutral to the USMNT, this is my take on Berhalter.

I get that team planning is more than just play the creative and attacker players and score the goals and win the game, but the way he approached the Netherlands game showed me all I needed to see to know he’s not the level required to lead what will arguably be the best squad the US has seen in 2026.

In order to break down a team sitting that deep it’s just so blatantly obvious you’re going to need creative technicians to break through the lines.

He could’ve lined up with Aaronson as a 9, brought in Reyna to start, pulled Musah out right to replace Weah and work it as a formation that drops Musah into a midfield three without the ball. Easy for me to say I know, and I do believe he’s a decent manager who played it right in the group stage for the most part. I just think this next cycle the US squad will have crossed that line where a blood and thunder US kind who pushes the team on through the willpower of the American spirit, and need to bring in a proper whiteboard/X’s and O’s/tactic guru to really take advantage of that group.
