I saw Bush play for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live and they were absolutely solid live. Itching to see them again

 

From their recent setlists, it looks like their sets are half the hits from Sixteen Stone, one from Razorblade Suitcase (tragic, should be more) and half from the new record. I'll probably still go but would love like "Greedy Fly" "Cold Contagious" or something deeper than just the hits. Didn't think I'd be talking about Bush this much when I woke up today.

Pavement / Yeah Yeah Yeahs / Run the Jewels is a BANGER of a lineup. I hope that means Pavement's planning on doing some other fests this year.

Pavement was my favorite show this year, hoping they headline a day of Pitchfork or Riot next year

 

Just got done being on a tour with Dreamer Isioma and they are very cool. Definitely recommend checking them out to anyone going to that fest.

 

also saw Bush as one of my first show. turned into a riot by the end because it was basically 300-500k people who were all allowed to bring in their own alcohol

I had a feeling Pavement would come around around again next year for spring/summer fests. Glad my gut was right.

I saw them at their first LA show in September and it was phenomenal. Hope they swing by again. But even if they don’t, I feel really satisfied that I got to see them that one time

 

i'd kill for that kind of a lineup in 2023. fingers crossed the When We Were Young crew is coming up with a rad 90s nostalgia fest.

 

Those already exist. They're called county fairs.

 

Nothing screams festival from the 90's quite like "Blockbuster Presents"

 

I fully support them doing whatever the fuck they want with their music but if they do a folk/Americana album next I might change my opinion. Not that I dislike those genres, I just don't want Weezer to do it

 

Makes me wonder if a Weezer Americana album is in the works…
