    Things have changed.

Bush is a legacy act with at least three songs that most rock fans would recognize. SSPU is not that.

Shania, I ask again, why do you hate Michigan?

The first band I ever saw live. Would legit go to this if it was in Chicago proper, but I have a suspicion this is in the casino in the burbs.
EDIT - oh shit, it's at the Salt Shed. Looks like itll be my first visit there.

Speaking of Salt Shed, I wish Third Eye Blind would announce their spring tour already so I know if the gig there is a one-off or not.

I saw Bush on one of their last US tours at HOB Boston before covid and it was actually a great show. Gavin still had some really great stage presence and energy and they played pretty much all the hits you wanna hear off their 90s records with only a few recent songs sprinkled in. 10/10 would recommend if you're on the fence about it and havent had a chance to catch one of their shows.

I saw Bush in 1997. They headlined a radio festival in Queens along with Foo Fighters, Blur, Echo & The Bunneymen, Soul Coughing and Luscious Jackson. Foo Fighters were still playing in the daylight in that era.

One of my first concerts…Bush & Goo Goo Dolls co-headliner with No Doubt opening. Pretty sure this was like 1996? Think it was the tour when Gwen and Gavin met.

Also remember seeing No Doubt like 6months later with The Vandals and CIV opening. Damn, haven’t thought of these shows in prob 10yrs ha.
