the couple of hours I played of Ragnarok earlier was maybe my favourite of the game so far. I really want to finish it but I'm playing with my wife so have to wait until we're both free.

 

The stuff they showed in the GF Reviews looked so fucking good I can’t wait to play further.

 

tried playing some more Streets of Rage 4 yesterday. i'm still ending up more frustrated than enjoying that game.

trailer unfortunately succumbs to one of my least favorite tropes this whole past decade tho; the whole "dramatic version of a pop/80's song"
it's just overdone at this point (imo)

 

Fortnite did their big reveal for the next map and it basically shut down the servers for rocket league, Fortnite, and fall guys.

THE ABSOLUTE WORst

 

I always found it odd because a lot of its great games weren't really successful, which is weird for a console that actually succeeded. I feel like that's been the case for a lot of Xbox games over the years though, both first and second party. I understand why Microsoft gave up on anything that wasn't Halo, Gears, or Forza, though it was still a mistake to do so. There's a reason we never got another Crimson Skies, Lost Odyssey, Sunset Overdrive, or the Sega games on the OG Xbox. Investing in exclusives is hard when nobody buys them. I imagine game pass is the reason they're trying again.

Anyway, I plan on buying some of those weird Japanese developed games the Xbox had. Also I'm curious about some games that can be played on PC like Doom 3 and Deus Ex Invisible War. I know the OG Xbox was a technical powerhouse back in the day but I imagine Doom 3 probably doesn't fair too well performance wise on it. Invisible War is essentially a console first game from what I've heard but I've never played it. Might as well give it a shot now. I also want to check out the original version of Escape from Butcher Bay. I've only ever played the remake.

(TLOU2 spoilers) is it true that Ellie kisses a girl but then also kills her? That's not very gay rights

 

No, she has a girlfriend but chooses to continue her revenge quest instead of giving it up and staying with her

There is also a DLC from the first game where there was a kiss but she did not kill her either, both were bitten an infected but only Ellie survived.

 

You of all people should play both games including Left Behind. Gay rights galore.

I fucking love TLOU2 so fucking much. I just wish the part in California was longer.

 

I’m really hoping there is a part 3. Definitely think there is more story to tell for Ellie.

 

So I chose not to continue with Root Double for right now, and in fact I chose not to continue with Sekai Project games at all. I might go back to it, but my feeling now is I have too many games I really want to play to leave it completely up to random chance, so I'm changing my approach.

Anyway, I'm currently playing a game called 7 Years From Now, which is basically a narrative game made in voxel graphics, where the limit of your interaction is just walking around and making things happen. The story it's telling is really compelling though. Very emotional with light sci-fi trappings. I'm guesstimating I'm about halfway done with it.

 

Steam has the weirdest games. I’ll live vicariously through you.

I had downloaded fall out new vegas but I got tired so I delete it since it crashed so damn much. Do you all think it would be different if I use the disc copy that I have instead of download?

 

Well, deleting and reinstalling might help, but I doubt the disc matters.
